One of the easiest ways to turn heads and feel confident in your ride is to select a luxury SUV that is sleek and luxurious. The new 2019 Porsche Cayenne and the 2019 Range Rover Sport are top-selling models that are also rivals of one another for their similarities. Here are a few of the top features to review when you’re looking to enjoy your drive each day.
The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 base engine that generates 335 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The car proves to be capable of different driving situations and is quick despite its large size. The SUV can get to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. Additional power is available with the twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine that is offered and gets to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Impressive handling and minimal body roll create a composed ride that feels stable without compromising on the amount of power that is provided.
The new Range Rover Sport is outfitted with a supercharged V6 engine that generates 340 horsepower. A V6 turbodiesel engine with 254 horsepower or a hybrid version with a four-cylinder engine and electric motor is also offered for more economical performance. The vehicle doesn’t provide as much of an agile ride as the Cayenne but will still make you feel like you’re driving a sports car on winding roads. Unlike some of its rivals, all-wheel-drive comes standard on the 2019 Cayenne. When it comes to off-roading, the model is not as capable of the 2019 Cayenne.
A long list of features come standard in the 2019 Cayenne, which increases the value of the car. Satellite radio, a 10-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, five USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a rearview camera, navigation, a 12.3-inch touch screen, HD Radio, and front and rear parking sensors are also available for more accommodation and functionality. All of the menus on the infotainment touchscreen are easy to navigate and respond quickly to commands. Approximately 27 cubic feet of cargo space is available in the back of the SUV.
Interior features that you’ll find in the 2019 Range Rover Sport include dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and proximity keyless entry. Touch Pro has a sharp and modern appearance but is challenging to use and doesn’t respond quickly, which can be distracting while operating the vehicle.
The interior of the new Cayenne is redesigned and looks stylish and modern with upscale materials on every surface. Leather upholstery comes standard with heated and ventilated front seats for added comfort. The front seats also have a massage feature and are 14-way power-adjustable. Heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and spacious rows in the front and back create a relaxing setting. The large windows also provide plenty of outward visibility.
The redesigned cabin of the new Range Rover Sport still looks outdated with a system that feels clumsy. An optional third row is available for those who want to have seven people fit in the SUV. Leather upholstery comes standard, along with ventilated and heated front seats, and 14-way power-adjustable front seats. Unfortunately, the third row is cramped and can only accommodate children.
